About Us
The Master Planned Community and Condominium Practice Group of Armbrust & Brown, L.L.P. represents large and small community associations throughout the State of Texas and nationwide, including communities comprised of single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, commercial and multi-owner mixed use projects.
In today's society, a community association and the community's governance documents are the primary instruments used to preserve property values and community expectations. Community associations enforce rules, maintain amenities, lobby public officials, and often provide services which in the past were provided by governmental agencies. The viability and success of a community association depends on proper operation and administration, including the timely collection of assessments and proper governance methods.
The Master Planned Community and Condominium Practice Group of Armbrust & Brown, L.L.P. assists our community association clients with all aspects of operation and administration. We prepare and provide advice regarding the preparation and interpretation of operational documents, including covenants, bylaws, rules, design standards, policies and procedure. We assist in the operational aspects of Board and member meetings, and can attend those meetings upon request. We assist in the association's relationship with third-party service providers, including property management companies, insurance companies, third-party vendors, and governmental agencies. Our collection efforts exploit all available means to secure an association's financial health, including demand letters, assessment liens, foreclosure and personal lawsuits to ensure that the association is able to discharge its financial responsibilities. We can also assist in any corporate, real estate, construction or other real property issue affecting community associations.
We are similarly experienced in community association litigation matters. We recognize that litigation is expensive, time consuming and disruptive. We counsel and assist our clients in preventing disputes that give rise to litigation when possible, and attempt to resolve them efficiently and effectively when they do arise.
We pride ourselves on our responsiveness to the needs of our clients. We return our clients' calls and inquiries promptly. Each of our clients receives timely attention and individual approaches and strategies. Our practice group is dedicated to personalized services that meet our clients' specific needs. Client satisfaction with the quality and cost of our services is of paramount importance.
